How to sell on Amazon with Shirtee.Cloud Integrations?

Can you imagine what 197 million unique monthly visitors look like? This is what Amazon gets every month. And e-commerce merchant retailers can also find that traffic by selling it with the help of print on demand amazon.

Half of all products purchased on Amazon are from the Amazon Marketplace. For e-commerce merchants, selling on Amazon's Marketplace opens the door to a whole new wave of customers and sales. After all, the more places you sell, the more chances your customers have of finding you.

If you are wondering if this is the channel you have to deal with, this blog post is for you. If you want to sell on amazon print on demand, you can think about how Shirtee.cloud's integration works, and there are additional tips for success.

Should You Become a Seller on Amazon?

Amazon is an eCommerce giant. You know the number:

·         Amazon's revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017 was 60.5 billion.

·         In 2016, Amazon accounted for 43% of online sales.

·         Amazon shipped more than 5 billion orders through Prime in 2017

According to 2016 study, 55% of consumers first check Amazon for their online shopping needs. In addition to these impressive figures, there are some more practical reasons why e-commerce merchants should consider selling on Amazon:

Amazon is a reliable market. You know customers trust Amazon and make purchases, so having a seller increases legitimacy in your business. Multichannel sales are a growing eCommerce strategy. You should sell products at your online store and visit such marketplaces where you can reach an already existing audience.

The cherry on top of the cake? Shirtee.cloud with Amazon integration

Our integration makes your life easier by automatically printing and fulfilling your drop shipping amazon order. And with our Product Push Generator, you can add products to your storefront in just a few clicks.

It also allows you to sell in different Amazon markets and regions. You can trade in North America or Europe, or both! This is the only integration out there that lets you connect with a global audience, so this is a significant advantage if you don't want to limit yourself to one area. But - and this is a big but - you should know about these things before moving on:

·         You will need to sign up for the Amazon Professional Seller Plan, which costs. 39.99 / month. This is because you must have Amazon's professional vendor plan to use your API, which you will need to make this integration work.

·         You will also have to pay a referral fee for each product you sell. Costs are based on the product category and listed retail prices but can be up to 15%.

·         This is a more complex integration than the other platforms we have integrated. And Amazon has strict seller rules. So setup and maintenance will take more time than different integrations.

Amazon is not for beginners, and it needs more time and money to continue. It may not be for everyone, but if you're willing to take the plunge and try out Amazon, read on and forge it!

How to set up your Shirtee.cloud with Amazon integration?

Before we continue, let me get out of there: you're about to lift something heavy. Amazon integration is technology-intensive, and Amazon has rules and approvals to establish itself. This process may not be as fast and easy as our other integrations, but we have plenty of resources for print on demand to get you through it.

Adding Amazon products by Shirtee.Cloud

Once your GTIN rebate (or registered brand) is approved, and integration is complete, you can add products to Amazon via Shirtee's Push Generator. Remember that you need a GTIN discount for every product category you want to sell on Amazon. You also need to authorize at least one market.

Check out our tutorial on how to add products to your store here.

·         Shirtee.cloud can take up to 24 hours to sync products on Amazon.

·         Amazon has a limit on how many products you can add at once. If you reach an upload limit, you'll have to wait a bit before adding more.

·         If you're having trouble syncing a product, double-check the GTIN waiver request for that product category! This is the most common error we've seen with syncing Amazon products.

·         Image requirements and product description

·         Amazon has strict requirements for adding product images. You can read them in full here, but don't worry. Mockup images pushed by Shirtee.cloud meets Amazon's requirements.

Amazon also has a guide on how to write a title and description for your product. You should follow their instructions as they are designed to make it easier for buyers to find you. Read their guide here.

 Establishment of shipping and tax

Another technical aspect that you need to take care of is shipping and tax. For shipping, we recommend using Amazon's default rates. They have calculated based on industry standards for each product category.

We recommend consulting an accounting professional to help sort out your taxes. You can take a look at Amazon's resources here (you need to log in to Seller Central to see).

Keeping your Amazon account healthy

Amazon's priority is the buyer. He wants his buyers to come back and spend more. So, to make sure buyers have a good experience - they have strict rules for the seller.

If your store's performance metrics don't meet Amazon's standards, they warn you and then hit a fine if nothing improves. Authorities will suspend many violations and your Amazon account. So, it's best to keep an eye on your metrics before things get out of hand. You can monitor your account's performance by going to Performance B.

There you will see how your account is performing and what improvements you need to make. These are some of the metrics of Amazon Trucks:

·         Number of negative reviews for your account or products

·         You cancel all orders before delivery.

·         Number of shipments to send after you promised production time

So do your research. Make sure you understand Amazon’s terms and know what you need to do to comply. You’ll find more detailed information in Amazon FAQs and forums. If you need clarification, contact their support.

How will the Shirtee.cloud handle be completed?

If you work with Shirtee.cloud, you can't control perfection on your own. You rely on us to send your order on time and we do not take it lightly.

You can automatically set the production time of print on demand amazon products pushed to the day gone by our generator for you for this feature. This makes the Shirtee.cloud a shorter time to complete the effect. Until your order ship within six days, there will be no penalty for late shipment to your account.

We do not suggest changing this, as if you set a time with which Shirtee.cloud will not be able to work, your order will be delayed, which can be a problem for your account. The exception will be around big holidays like Christmas when delays related to higher-order quantity are possible. If you change the production time, don't forget to update the information again after the holidays.
